Catherine Dierckxsens MD

Dr Cathy Dierckxsens obtained her medical degree at the Free University of Brussels (VUB), where she graduated Magna cum laude. She completed her dermatology residency at the University Hospital UZ Brussels, and obtained an additional degree in aesthetic dermatology at the University of Versailles, France.

Between 2000 and 2018, Dr Cathy Dierckxsens worked as a consultant dermatologist, focusing on aesthetic and laser dermatology, at the University Hospital UZ Brussels. In 2000, she started her private dermatology practice, and she now works full time as laser and cosmetic dermatologist in the heart of the European quarter of Brussels.

She is a member of the Belgian Professional Association of Dermatology, the European Society for Laser Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

She is a Key Opinion Leader and a regular speaker at national and international conferences on her fields of expertise that are aesthetic and laser dermatology.

She speaks fluently Dutch, French, English and Italian.
