| What
does the procedure feel like? |
A topical
anasthetic is usually applied before treatment reducing
discomfort to a minimum. You may experience some
mild stinging and/or flushing during treatment and
some redness and mild swelling may persist for 1
to 3 days after treatment. The natural shedding
of epidermal tissue follows after four to seven
days and while many patients experience immediate
and noticeable results it is the longer term collagen
remodelling that takes place over several months
that brings the real benefits.
Sun block is recommended for protecting new skin.
You can immediately return to normal activities
and may apply make-up or shave soon after treatment.

| How
many treatments will I need? |
| The
number of treatments required depends upon the desired
results and the original condition of the skin.
MOSAIC therapy normally gives very positive clinical
results after just one session but for best and
lasting results your clinician may recommend a course
of between 3 and 6 treatments. |
